Hungarian President to visit Vietnam next week

Hanoi (VNA) – Hungarian President Laszlo Solyom will pay an official visit to Vietnam from May 15-19 at an invitation of President Nguyen Minh Triet. The visit is aimed at boosting multifaceted relations between Vietnam and Hungary, especially economic and commercial ties, the Foreign Ministry’s spokesman Le Dung told reporters at a regular press briefing in Hanoi on May 8. During the visit, the Hungarian President will hold talks with President Nguyen Minh Triet and exchange ideas with Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung and National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Phu Trong. President Laszlo Solyom and his entourage plan to work with some ministries and sectors of Vietnam and visit localities.-Enditem
