Embassy in China helps promote investment

Beijing (VNA) – The Vietnamese Embassy in China and the East Asia Investment Forum-China co-hosted a seminar introducing investment and trade environment in Vietnam on May 10. Representatives of close to 100 Chinese businesses in Beijing and other localities flocked to the event with eagerness to inquire into investment conditions and relevant policies currently applied in Vietnam . Ambassador to China Tran Van Luat and officials from the ministries of foreign affairs, industry and trade, and planning and investment came up with information on Vietnam ’s current economic development, its trade ties with China and laws and policies on economic and investment promotion. The seminar is part of the 2008 East Asia Forum to be convened in Beijing on May 11.-Enditem
