Caodaist faction celebrates 70th anniversary

Danang (VNA) – The Hoi Thanh Truyen Giao Cao Dai (Caodaist Missionary Church) held a ceremony in Danang city on May 10 to mark its 70th anniversary of making public in central region. The event was attended by representatives from the Party Central Committee’s Mass Mobilisation Commission, local authorities, and Caodaist dignitaries and followers. Archbishop Thuong Hau Thanh, head of the church, said over the past 70 years, the church has received the support from local authorities. So far, it has expanded to 16 provinces and cities, built a holy see temple, four houses of meditation, and two monasteries. He also affirmed the church would instruct believers to observe the Party and State’s directions and policies, and join hand in improving the living conditions for the sect’s followers.-Enditem
