Vietnam, Japan talk trade unions activities

12/05/2008 -- 9:57 PM

Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnam and Japan should strengthen cooperation between their trade unions organisations to exchange experience on their activities, said Chairman of the Japan’s National Confederation of Trade Unions (Zenroren) Mitsuo Bannai.

The Japanese chairman made the statement while he was received by Chairman of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour (VGCL) Dang Ngoc Tung in Hanoi on May 12.

For his part, the Vietnamese official said that VGCL is willing to send its representatives to attend the peace conference held by Zenroren in July.

He expressed his wish that the two countries’ trade unions organisations would have more exchanges during the process of worldwide globalisation.

He also referred to advantages and challenges of VGCL and its action plan in the future.-Enditem
