Five foreigners arrested for drug trafficking

Hanoi (VNA) – Five foreigners have been arrested by police in Quang Ninh province for allegedly trafficking 8 tonnes of marijuana tar worth an estimated street value of 90 million USD. According to the police, the drugs were stashed inside 400 cartons in two shipping containers of denim clothing headed from Chua Ve port in Hai Phong city to Quang Ninh province. A team headed by the Deputy Minister of Public Security, Sen. Lieut. Gen. Le The Tiem, has been set up to investigate and handle the case.-Enditem
