Red Cross gives 20,000 USD to China quake victims

Hanoi (VNA)- The Vietnam Red Cross (VRC) will send 20,000 USD as initial relief to earthquake victims in southern China. VRC President Tran Ngoc Tang has cabled condolences to his Chinese counterpart. The Prime Minister has also allocated 200,000 USD in emergency aid to help China overcome devastating losses of human lives and property caused by the May 12 earthquake in Sichuan province.--Enditem
