Truong Sa islanders draw power from sun and wind

16/05/2008 -- 10:19 PM

Khanh Hoa (VNA) – People on isolated Truong Sa archipelago are expected to generate electricity from solar rays and wind power thanks to a renewable energy project initiated by the Ho Chi Minh City science and technology department.

Following the success of a two-week trial, the department says there are strong prospects for abundant and free-of-charge solar and wind power to be generated for daily use.-Enditem
