Japan provides more than 10 million USD to Cambodia

Phnom Penh (VNA) – Japan will provide Cambodia with more than 1.45 billion JPY (over 10 million USD) for the country’s human resources training programme and construction of a hospital in Kampong Cham province. An agreement to this effect was signed by Japanese Ambassador to Cambodia Katsuhiro Shinohara and Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister cum Foreign Minister Hor Nam Hong in Phnom Penh on May 16. Japan is currently the largest foreign donor to Cambodia , with more than 100 million USD per annum.-Enditem
