ODA projects free from duties

Hanoi (VNA) – Foreign companies using Official Development Assistance will be freed of all duties on equipment and means of transport, the Ministry of Finance has told customs offices nationwide. After the companies’ projects end, foreign companies must seek approval from local authorities if they want to sell their equipment or vehicles in Vietnam . They must also pay tax equivalent to the original duty on the goods.-Enditem
