Battery maker invests 366 billion VND in plant

Hanoi (VNA) – Southern Battery Joint Stock Co (PAC) has received a licence to invest in building Pinacon Nhon Trach battery plant. The 266.7 million VND plant with a designed capacity of 600,000 kWh a year will cover an area of 60,000sq.m at Nhon Trach industrial zone in Dong Nai province. The plant will begin production in March. By the end of the first quarter this year, the company had earned 297.4 billion VND, an increase of 70 percent against the same time-frame last year. This brought a profit of 11.6 billion VND, an increase of 94.8 percent.-Enditem
