More soldiers’ remains repatriated from Cambodia

Kien Giang (VNA) – The southern Kien Giang province has received from the Kampot province of Cambodia 85 sets of remains of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers who fell down in the neighbouring country during wars.

Addressing the repatriation ceremony held on June 9, representatives from Kampot province expressed thanks to Vietnamese volunteer soldiers for their sacrifice for helping Cambodian people escape the genocidal Khmer Rouge regime.

Kien Giang province has to date repatriated 909 sets of remains of Vietnamese soldiers from Cambodia.-Enditem
