Russia’s National Day celebrated in Ho Chi Minh City

HCM City (VNA) – A ceremony to mark the 18th National Day and the National Sovereignty Declaration Day of Russia (June 12) was held in Ho Chi Minh City on June 11. Addressing the ceremony, Chairman of the Vietnam-Russia Friendship Association Hoang, Huu Nghia, said he hoped Russia will maintain its position in the world arena as a great powerful country and hold its sovereignty to ensure a better life for its people. He said the two countries’ economic-commercial and scientific-technical cooperation will help bring more potentialities and practical benefits to their state and people. The Russian ambassador to Vietnam Nikolai Dmitrievic Ubushiev also said Vietnam-Russian friendly and cooperative relations will be more improved and developed in the future for the two countries’ benefits.-Enditem
