Solid waste treatment factory put into operation in Ha Nam

Ha Nam (VNA) – A factory to produce organic fertiliser from solid waste was inaugurated in northern Ha Nam province on June 18.

The project, which started one year ago, was approved by the Prime Minister to use the Belgian Government’s preferential ODA credit to import equipment through Menart Company of Belgium .

The project was built with a total investment of nearly 68 billion VND, including almost 46.7 billion in ODA credit loan.

It will help Ha Nam treat a large amount of daily rubbish as local dumping grounds are likely full and contaminating environment.

The factory, which covers more than 48,000 sq. m in Thanh Liem district, has a design capacity of treating 120 tonnes of rubbish per day.-Enditem
