World women’s volleyball Grand Prix begins in VN

Vinh Phuc (VNA) – Opening matches of the World Women’s Volleyball Grand Prix Group D were played in Vietnam’s northern Vinh Phuc province on June 27. Brazil trounced Kazakhstan with a final score 3-0, meanwhile Turkey defeated Germany 3-1. On June 28, Kazakhstan will face Germany and Brazil will play against Turkey. The Grand Prix draws 12 top teams from Asia, Europe and America. The five best from each round will compete for a grand prize of 2 million USD in the finals in Yokohama, Japan.-Enditem
