Vietnam beckons to beauty contests

Hanoi (VNA) – Central Khanh Hoa province, where 80 beauties from around the world are competing for the Miss Universal 2008 title, will host the Miss World beauty contest in 2010. Chairwoman of the Miss World Organisation Julia Morlay met with the leaders of the province on June 30 to discuss preparations for the event. Morlay said the Nha Trang sea resort is an ideal location for any beauty pageant. Another coastal province of Vietnam , southern Ba Ria-Vung Tau province, will also host the Mrs. World contest next year. At this year’s Mrs. World event in Russia , Vietnamese contestant, former Miss Vietnam Nguyen Dieu Hoa, was one of the top five beauties.-Enditem
