School students join exchange programme in Japan

Tokyo (VNA) - Twenty senior high school students from 11 provinces and cities across Vietnam are participating in a special exchange programme in Japan from July 1-10.

During their visit, the students will meet their peers from two schools and stay with 13 Japanese families for two days to learn about the local people’s daily life and traditional customs.

They will also visit several factories and landscapes in Tokyo , Hiroshima and Osaka .

The programme is organised by the Japanese Association for International Manpower Development of Medium and Small Enterprises (IMM) to mark the 35th anniversary of diplomatic ties between the two nations.

IMM has so far received hundreds of Vietnamese young people as trainees.-Enditem
