Vietnamese-funded training centre launched in Laos

Hanoi (VNA) – A Vietnamese-funded project to build a training centre for trade union officials under the Lao Federation of Trade Unions has been launched in Vientiane capital of Laos . The 1,500 sq.m project, costing 12 billion VND and funded by the Vietnamese General Confederation of Labour, is expected to provide at-once accommodations for 200 trade union trainees. The construction work which is scheduled for completion in March 2009 will be a symbol of the Vietnam-Laos special relations in general and the two countries’ trade union federations in particular.-Enditem
