12/07/2008 -- 9:15 PM

Hanoi (VNA) – Photos of Vietnamese people’s pains and sufferings during the Vietnam war are being displayed at the Rome Museum in Italy .

The 120 black and white photos were taken by late famous Italian journalist-photographer Ennio Iacobucci from 1968 until 1975.

Born in 1940, Iacobucci worked for Newsweek, Times and Paris Match. He was the first western correspondent to report the success of the Vietnamese people’s army in central Quang Tri province in 1972.

Through photos and news stories, Iacobucci and his colleagues Tiziano Terzani and Orianna Fallaci told the truth about the unjust war against the Vietnamese people.-Enditem
