Players flock to World Cyber Games Vietnam

Hanoi (VNA) – The WCG Vietnam 2008, which was opened at the Hanoi University of Technology on July 12, drew almost 1,000 players in the north competing in amateur and professional tournaments. The two-day competition feature four events – FIFA 2008, Starcraft, DOTA All-Stars and Counter Strike 1.6 - in both individual and team categories. The top finishers of the on-going World Cyber Games (WCG) Vietnam 2008 will have a chance to compete in the WCG Asian Championship scheduled to take place in Singapore in August and the WCG Grand Final in Cologne , Germany , in November.-Enditem
