Australian heroin trafficker arrested

HCM City (VNA) - Police in Ho Chi Minh City have arrested an Australian woman of Vietnamese origin for allegedly trafficking 73.87g of heroin. Nguyen Thanh Huyen, 22, was arrested when she was going through customs at the Tan Son Nhat international airport on July 13. The airport’s customs officers found on her body two packets of white powder that were defined as heroin after tests. Earlier, the city’s police also arrested three Vietnamese Australian women belonging to a drug trafficking ring that used HCM City as a transit destination. They were caught with 1.8 kg of heroin.-Enditem
