466 million USD aluminium processing factory to be built

Hanoi (VNA) – A 466 million USD aluminium processing factory will be built in the Central Highland province of Lam Dong . The 600,000 tonnes per year capacity factory, which will be built by the Vietnam Coal and Mineral Industry Group (Vinacomin) and the China Aluminum International Engineering Corp (CHALIECO), will exploit bauxite ores in Di Linh district. It is expected to create jobs for about 16,000 local people. According to the Vinacomin, the contract is the largest and the most important part of the bauxite-aluminum project in Central Lam Dong province, and CHALIECO will carry out the construction work within two years.-Enditem
