Samsung insurer explores Vietnam market

Hanoi (VNA) – Samsung Life Insurance Company inaugurated its representative office in Hanoi on July 15, marking the presence of one of the Republic of Korea (RoK)’s leading insurers in Vietnam . RoK Ambassador to Vietnam Im Hong Jae said the opening of the representative office was an indication of Samsung Life Insurance Company’s confidence on the Vietnamese insurance market’s future growth. Samsung Life Insurance Company will join 35 other foreign life and non-life insurers, including the leading ones as Prudential, AIA, Manulife, Cathay Life, Liberty and AIG, to explore the insurance market in Vietnam where 5 percent of the population currently have life insurance.-Enditem
