At the UN Security Council’s consultation meeting in New York on July 15, Ambassador Bui The Giang, Deputy Vietnamese Representative to the UNSC, also affirmed Vietnam ’s support for the full deployment of MINURCAT, which it believes will greatly contribute to the stabilisation of the situation in Chad , the CAR and the sub-region.

He called on the international community to extend necessary assistance to help MINURCAT carry out its humanitarian mandate.
