HCM City (VNA) - The 22nd Golden Racket International Table Tennis Tournament started in Ho Chi Minh City on July 16.
The five-day tourney drew 110 players, including 49 women, from eight Asian countries and territories, namely China, Japan, the Republic of Korea, India, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong and Vietnam.
The players are competing for titles in men’s single, women’s single, men’s double, women’s double, mixed double, men’s team and women’s team events.
To cheer Vietnamese athletes, the tournament’s sponsor M-Kitech pledged to present each champion with a bonus of 50 million VND; runner-up, 30 million VND; and third-placed player, 20 million VND.-Enditem
