Gearing up for Asian Indoor Games III

Hanoi (VNA) – The Vietnam Asian Indoor Games III-Vietnam 2009 Organising Committee (VAIGOC) met with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Vietnam Olympic Committee in Hanoi to discuss preparations for the Games. The focus was on organising subcommittees, finalising budget estimates, ensuring security, communications and food safety. As for mobilisation of sponsorship for the Games, marketing experts from the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) estimate that Vietnam will need to attract 8-10 million USD in sponsorship. VAIGOC will also need to hand the OCA 2.5 million USD, equivalent to nearly one-third of its total sponsorship contracts valued at 8.5 million USD.-Enditem
