Laos-Vietnam bank open quick money transfer service

Vientiane (VNA) – The Laos-Vietnam joint venture bank (LVB) and Western Union have joined hand to open a new money transfer service to meet the increasing demand of customers, particularly Lao and Vietnamese businessmen. A cooperation agreement underscoring the service was signed late last week by representatives from the bank and Western Union. A lot of Vietnamese businesses, who are making investment in Laos, have opened their banking accounts at the bank, LVB Deputy Director Bouavanh Simalavong said, adding that the new service is necessary, especially in the coming time, when the demand to transfer money among businesses of the two countries is going up.-Enditem
