Vice President presents gifts to war veterans

Khanh Hoa (VNA) – Vice State President Nguyen Thi Doan on July 22 visited and presented gifts to war veterans and their families in central Khanh Hoa province on the occasion of the Day of Fallen Soldiers and War Invalids (July 27). The Vice President visited revolutionary veteran Mai Duong, Vietnamese heroic mother Tran Thi Chay, and some local war invalids and fallen combatants' families in Nha Trang. She laid a wreath at the provincial Hon Dung cemetery for fallen soldiers. Vice President Doan also presented 5 million VND to the provincial retirement house and 1 million VND to each of 16 old people living there.-Enditem
