Remains of volunteer soldiers repatriated from Cambodia

Long An (VNA) – As many as 112 sets of remains of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers repatriated from Cambodia were reburied in the southern province of Long An on July 23.

The remains have been found and brought home by the provincial K 73’s search team with helps of authorities and people of Svay Rieng, Cong Pong Spu, Kon Dal provinces and Phnom Penh city. Only 20 sets of remains have been identified.

Long An’s search teams have so far repatriated 1,726 set of remains of Vietnamese soldiers who perished in the neighbouring country.-Enditem
