Photos of AO victims on exhibition in Japan

Tokyo (VNA) – A photo exhibition on Vietnamese Agent Orange /Dioxin victims was open in Japan’s port city of Yokohama from June 28 to July 26.

More than 70 photos, taken by photographer Goro Nakamura right after the end of the Vietnam War, have stunned and moved visitors.

Several of the photos also depicted US and Korean war veterans who became victims of the toxic substance when they fought in the war in Vietnam.

Nakamura, born in 1940, is a famous photographer in Japan. He has dedicated most his career to cover the Vietnam War and damaging effects of the Agent Orange/Dioxin.

Some of his works have been exhibited in the US. –Enditem
