Hanoi (VNA) - Nguyen Van Chi, Politburo member, Secretary and Chairman of the Party Central Committee’s Inspection Commission, on Aug. 28 received a high-level delegation from the Lao State Inspectorate, led by Deputy Inspector General Thoongsy Uonlasy.
The Lao Deputy Inspector General, who was on a working visit to Vietnam , informed his host the fine results of the talks between the delegations of the Lao State Inspectorate and the Vietnamese Government’s Inspectorate.
He affirmed the Lao side’s determination to do its utmost to promote and develop Laos-Vietnam special friendship, solidarity and comprehensive cooperation, and expressed his hope to further the exchange of experience between the two countries’ inspectorates.
The Vietnamese Party official highly appreciated the results of the Lao delegation’s visit and the effective cooperation between the two inspectorates, which, he added, contributed to strengthening and enhancing the two countries’ special friendship, unity and comprehensive cooperation.
He stressed that the Vietnamese Party, State and people always attached importance to boosting Vietnm-Lao special relations for the benefit of the two people as well as for peace, stability, cooperation and development in the region and the world.
He conveyed his best regards to the Lao Party and State leaders and people and expressed his sympathy on losses caused by floods in a number of Lao localities.-Enditem
