Singapore, UAE to share public sector expertise

Hanoi (VNA) - The United Arab Emirates (UAE) Government is set to procure services from Singapore's public and private sectors under a new agreement signed recently, Channel News Asia reported. The pact agreed on August 27 will see the Singapore Cooperation Enterprise (SCE), a government agency formed by the Trade and Industry and Foreign Affairs Ministries, providing advisory services and knowledge transfer on areas such as health, education, urban planning and integrated government. The SCE is already working on an e-health strategy and implementation with the Dubai Department of Health Authority. SCE works closely with Singapore's 15 ministries and over 60 statutory boards to tailor possible solutions to match the foreign parties' needs, according to the news network.-Enditem
