Lam Dong (VNA) - The National Junior Bodybuilding and Women’s Fitness Championships kicked off in the Central Highlands province of Lam Dong on August 29.
The tournament drew the participation of 54 athletes, including 27 females, from seven provinces and cities - Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, Lam Dong, An Giang, Dong Nai, Ba Ria-Vung Tau and An Giang.
Male bodybuilders will compete in the 55kg, 60kg, 65kg, 70kg, and above 75kg categories, while their female peers will race for titles in six events ranging from Body Fitness 155cm to Body Fitness 160cm.
The competition of Asian gold medallists Se Pha (Lam Dong) and Dinh Kim Loan (An Giang) at the two-day tourney helped draw public interest, said experts.-Enditem
