Lao youths meet peers in Binh Duong province

Binh Duong (VNA) – A delegation from the Lao People’s Revolutionary Youth Union (LPRYU) visited southern Binh Duong province on September 3 to strengthen the friendship and share busienss experiences with local young people. At a working session with the provincial People’s Committee, Khamphan Sitthidampha, First Secretary of the LPRYU’s Central Committee, said he was impressed by Binh Duong province’s economic achievements, adding that the Lao young delegates want to learn from the province’s industrial development experiences. The visit also helped boost the cooperation and special friendship between the Vietnam and Laos, he said. The sixty-strong Lao delegation arrived in Ho Chi Minh City on September 1 to attend the Vietnam-Laos Youth Friendship Meeting 2008.-Enditem
