Hanoi (VNA) - A conference on sci - tech renovation was jointly held by the International Business Machines Group (IBM) and the Ministry of Science and Technology in Hanoi on September 4. Hanoi (VNA)- A conference on sci - tech renovation was jointly held by the International Business Machines Group (IBM) and the Ministry of Science and Technology in Hanoi on September 4. It reviewed the progress of the three programmes on renovation and invention set in 2007 that concerned the information technology service training programme; the university education support programme and others. The IBM representative said that Vietnam should establish a nonlinear ecosystem for renovating and inventing that is formed by both state owned and private companies, universities, governmental agencies and non-governmental organisations to make use of the international knowledge for the national development. He also advised Vietnam to set up digital business ecosystems that are based on the opening source projects to help the country integrate into the international market.-Enditem
