Finance Ministry website lists accredited auditors

Hanoi (VNA) – The Ministry of Finance has published on its website the names of 29 auditors who are allowed to audit securities issuers, listed firms and brokerages and fund management companies in 2009. The selected auditors have met the first requirement of having up to 2 billion VND 119,050 (USD) in charter capital or equity capital for local enterprises, and 300,000 USD for foreign-invested firms. The chosen enterprises needed to work with at least 30 enterprises in the last two years. Also they have more than seven members who are certified as the law regulated. In addition, the selected enterprises must also follow the law and the Government Circulars for independent auditors. Among the selected auditors are the Vietnam Auditing and Accounting Company, the Hanoi Company Profession of Auditing and Accounting , the Delloitte Vietnam, and Earnst and Young Vietnam.-Enditem
