Cairo (VNA) - Joining the World Trade Organisation (WTO) will help Viet Nam 's economy develop further in the future, Egyptian newspapers said on their international pages.
Al-Ahram and The Egyptian Gazette reported on Dec. 13 that Viet Nam will officially become the 150th WTO member on Jan. 11, 2007 . They said that the "huge playground" of world trade would help strong, sustainable and growing economies like Viet Nam to have a basis for further development in the future.
Meanwhile, Cairo Radio's morning broadcast on Dec. 14 emphasised Viet Nam 's successes in recent external activities, including the successful organisation of the 14th APEC Economic Leaders' Meeting in Ha Noi and the full normalisation of economic ties with the US after the US Congress adopted the Permanent Normal Trade Relations status with Viet Nam.--Enditem |
