State leader praises Hai Phong's administrative reform efforts

Hai Phong (VNA) - State President Nguyen Minh Triet, on Feb. 14, praised the northern port city of Hai Phong for its decision to choose 2007 as the year for boosting administrative reform, with the aim of creating a more favourable investment environment for investors and driving back corruption. The state leader made the compliment during his visit to the city to congratulate the municipal Party committee, administration and people on the Lunar New Year. The president urged Hai Phong to take advantage of its strategic location and make full use of its potential to boost the development of marine economy. While in the city, the president visited the Navy Forces and the Military Zone 3 on the Tet traditional holiday.-Enditem
