Ba Ria-Vung Tau: administrative reform for foreign-invested business

Ba Ria-Vung Tau (VNA) – The local Natural Resources and Environment Department granted the certificate of land use right to the SP-PSA International Port Co. Ltd on April 25, the day that the latter completed its application for the certificate. SP-PSA, a joint venture between the Viet Nam Shipping Lines Corporation (Vinalines) and the Singapore-based PSA Vietnam, with an investment capital of 165 million USD, will build and operate the Cai Mep-Thi Vai deep-water port. The 54 ha port will be equipped with modern facilities to be capable of accommodating large ships. The joint venture plans to complete the construction work of two wharfs in 2010. Earlier, in February, the province also granted a certificate of land use right to a foreign company within a day.-Enditem
