HCM City (VNA) - A system that will bolster links between ministries and agencies involved in the fight against corruption has been given the go ahead by the General Inspector.
The data system will serve as a venue for personnel to quickly and effectively update and exchange anti-corruption information.
The system will also help authorised agencies like the Central Steering Committee on Anti-corruption, the Government Inspection Agency, the Ministry of Public Security and the People's Supreme Procuracy to review reports on anti-corruption works so that they can draw up more effective measures to wipe out corruption within the country.
Viet Nam set up the central Steering Committee for Corruption Prevention and Combating and the Police Department for Corruption Criminals on October 4th, 2006 and February 3rd, 2007, respectively, to strengthen its capacity in the fight against corruption.-Enditem
