VN shares experiences on WTO accession with Laos

Vientiane (VNA) – A Vietnamese delegation led by Vu Khoan, Special Envoy of the Prime Minister, is visiting Laos to exchange experiences with Lao Party and Government leaders on the process to join the World Trade Organisation (WTO). The visit takes place in the context that Laos is pursuing its plan to enter the world’s largest trade body. Khoan has briefed the Lao officials on Viet Nam’s WTO accession process as well as the benefits and challenges facing the country when it becomes a WTO member. He also touched upon issues relating to rules and regulations that a country has to observe after becoming a WTO member.-Enditem
