Phnom Penh (VNA) - A delegation of five young Vietnamese nationals living in Cambodia on July 17 started their departure for Summer Camp 2007 in Viet Nam, which will participated by their peers from over 20 countries.
During the two-week programme, commencing on July 18, the participants will visit President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the Presidential Palace in Ha Noi, Hung Kings’ Temple in northern Vinh Phuc province, and meet with Party and State leaders.
They will take part in voluntary activities in Ha Noi, central Da Nang city and Ho Chi Minh City, sports competitions, art performances, a discussion on how to preserve Vietnamese cultural identities, and learn about Viet Nam’s history, culture and traditional arts.
The young overseas Vietnamese will visit the country’s popular landscapes such as Ha Long Bay and Ngu Hanh Son mountain.
Earlier, a summer camp was held in Ho Chi Minh City for 36 young overseas Vietnamese from nine countries and territories all over the world.-Enditem
