OVs in Canada praise visa exemption policy

Ottawa (VNA) – Ten first in Canadian Vietnamese who received visa exemption certificates on September 10 showed their gratitude to the Vietnamese State and Government. “I was very moved when I received the visa exemption certificate,” said Nguyen Trung Phuoc, an overseas Vietnamese in Ottawa, adding that thi s is a positive policy for Vietnamese who are residing abroad. Nguyen Thi Loan, another recipient of the visa exemptions, said with the Prime Minister’s Decision 135, more overseas Vietnamese in Canada as well as other countries will return to Viet Nam in the future. Vietnamese Ambassador to Canada Nguyen Duc Hung said that the policy aims to create more favourable conditions for Vietnamese in all corners of the world to visit or do business in the country.-Enditem
