Overseas Vietnamese in Russia donate to flood victims

Ha Noi (VNA) – The Committee for Overseas Vietnamese Affairs on September 20 received over 156 million VND (9,750 USD) from the Overseas Vietnamese Association in Russia to help flood victims in the central provinces of Ha Tinh and Quang Binh. Addressing the ceremony, Deputy Chairman of the committee Tran Trong Toan affirmed that the funds would be provided to flood victims as soon as possible. According to Le Ngoc Huong, President of the Overseas Vietnamese Association in Russia, the association plans to continue its funding raising efforts to help out the disadvantaged in Viet Nam.-Enditem
