Overseas Vietnamese in Malaysia receive visa exemptions

Ha Noi (VNA) – The Vietnamese Embassy in Malaysia on September 21 granted visa exemption certificates to six overseas Vietnamese. One of the recipients Phan Van Truong highlighted the policy as a great present to overseas Vietnamese while speaking with a Vietnamese News Agency reporter. “Like other overseas Vietnamese, I have a strong desire to come back to Viet Nam after many years living abroad,” he said. Truong said that he will come back Viet Nam in the near future to work as a managing director of the Wah-Seong Viet Nam, an affiliate of the Malaysia-based Wah-Seong corporation – a niche player in the oil and gas sector. Malaysia is currently home to close to 500 overseas Vietnamese.-Enditem
