Ha Noi (VNA) – A number of Chinese experts presented their country’s World Trade Organisation (WTO)-related experiences in macro-economic policies, social security and environmental protection at a seminar that opened in Ha Noi on September 24.
Chinese policy makers and scholars shared experiences with Viet Nam in such areas as growth model, farming, opening up service, finance and banking sectors, anti-dumping, law adjustment, and combination of economic development and environmental protection.
Viet Nam officially became the 150th member of the WTO on January 11, 2007, after 11 years of negotiations. The country is considered Asia's best-performing economy after China.
The workshop, entitled “China in 5 Years after WTO Accession: Sharing Experiences with Viet Nam,” was held by the Viet Nam Academy of Social Sciences.-Enditem
