Ha Noi (VNA) – Knowledge on reasons for and on the damage of corruption will be incorporated into university and college students’ study programmes by 2010, the Government Inspectorate said yesterday.
All staff working for State agencies and organizations will be equipped with knowledge on corruption, including State and Party legal policies on anti-corruption.
In a seminar held yesterday to gather ideas from relevant sectors, representatives from the ministries of Home Affairs, Education and Training and Public Securities and Government Office stressed the importance of co-ordination among State agencies and training centres, to attract people to learn more about State and Party policies on anti-corruption.
In the project’s first phase from 2008, relevant sectors will compile teaching programmes for staffs and students as well as carry out pilot programmes in some universities and colleges. In the second phase, which will begin after 2010, the sectors will organize the teaching programme in universities, colleges, professional high-schools and other schools of ministries and sectors nation-wide.
The project is a part of the country’s programme on strengthening the comprehensive capacity of the Inspectorate system.-Enditem
