Brussels (VNA) – Over the past year, Viet Nam has actively engaged in WTO activities, developing its role and winning support from many other WTO members, said a senior Vietnamese official on November 7.
Charge d’affaires to the UN, the WTO and other international organisations Pham Quoc Tru made the statement during a meeting in Geneva , Switzerland to celebrate one year since Viet Nam became a member of the WTO.
The diplomat also said the accession was an important milestone in Viet Nam ’s international economic integration, opening up new prospects for national development with many advantages and challenges.-Enditem
