Businesses invest 124 trillion VND in HCM City

HCM City (VNA) - 15.800 non-state businesses were licensed to invest 124 trillion VND in Ho Chi Minh City in the first eleven months of 2007, reported Ho Chi Minh City ’s Planning and Investment Department on November 26. The southern commercial hub has also brought in 2 billion USD in foreign direct investment (FDI), including 400 new projects worth 1.7 billion USD and 124 existing projects that increased capital by 286 million USD. At present, Ho Chi Minh city has 2,560 valid FDI projects with 16.5 billion USD of registered capital, 21% increase of projects and 15% of investment capital compared with the same period last year.-Enditem
