More aid for flood victims from overseas Vietnamese

Ottawa (VNA) – Overseas Vietnamese in Canada donated more than 40,000 USD to support flood victims in Viet Nam . The money was collected from the opening ceremony of the overseas Vietnamese association in Canada , held recently in Vancouver . Receiving the sum, Vietnamese ambassador to Canada Nguyen Duc Hung expressed thanks to the sentiments of overseas Vietnamese community in Canada toward the country. Earlier, the community donated 28,640 USD to help victims of the five consecutive floods in central Viet Nam over the last month.-Enditem
