Overseas Vietnamese in Cambodia receive leaders’ gifts

Phnom Penh (VNA) – The Association of Overseas Vietnamese in Cambodia on December 12 inaugurated a funeral house built with fundings partly donated by National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Phu Trong. The 100 sq.m. floating funeral house located in Kompong Chhnang province will help some 1,000 overseas Vietnamese fishermen households living nearby the Tonle Sap lake in western Cambodia to organise funeral ceremonies for their relatives in line with Viet Nam ’s tradition. The same day, 27 poor overseas Vietnamese households in Kompong Thom province received gifts sent by State President Nguyen Minh Triet.-Enditem
